Women of OZ
OZ is a Hebrew word for unwavering courage or strength. The Women of OZ have the courage to explore their inner selves to improve and grow and let their light shine through .
Psalms 29:11 states “Hashem gives strength (Oz) to His people”.
OZ also represents Orit & Zorayda who will occasionally offer and lead Jewish holiday explorations to learn about their spiritual richness and increase their joyfulness.
All are welcome.
Shavuot with Zorayda and Nancy
Watercolor and Shavuot-inspired personalized Torah reading
You’re invited to a meaningful creative gathering!
Paint shimmering watercolor bookmarks with Nancy and receive a Shavuot-inspired Hebrew-letter reading of your name with Zorayda—learn what your name reveals about your personal mission. Choose the name that you identify with most (first, middle, or Hebrew). Finish the bookmarks with your name written in Hebrew Letters as a spiritual keepsake.
This event is free, and all materials are provided.
Location: Orit’s home in Northridge
Date: Sunday, May 31, 2026
Schedule:
• Snacks and socializing begin at 1:30 pm
• Activities run from 2:00–4:00 pm (please arrive on time)
Light snacks will be provided. This is not a potluck—just bring your lovely self!
We can’t wait to explore joyfully together again.
Please let us know if you plan to attend.
Nancy, Zorayda and Orit
You do not have to be Jewish or have a Hebrew name to have your name "read" for your life mission. We can figure it out together. All are welcomed!
